Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to 15 Minute Markets (the “App”), provided by Haselrig Technologies LLC (“Haselrig Technologies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not apply to the Haselrig Technologies website, which has a separate website privacy policy.
Practice is local. Leaderboard sharing is optional. You can practice without creating a leaderboard profile. If you choose to join, the App sends a limited summary of your results to our leaderboard service. The current version does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Information stored on your device
The App stores the following information locally on your device so its features work and your practice session can continue between launches:
- your fake-cash bankroll, simulated positions, fills, results, and performance history;
- app preferences, including default stake, market duration, appearance, sound, and haptic settings; and
- a short cache of public market and price information used to display current and recent rounds.
This information is stored in the App’s private container on your device. Individual simulated trades, positions, settings, and cached prices are not uploaded. If you join the leaderboard, only the aggregate results described below are shared. Reset controls delete practice records and statistics and update your shared score when the App next connects. Deleting the App removes local files, subject to Apple’s device backup and restoration behavior; it does not immediately delete a server profile.
Optional leaderboard
Before joining, the App asks you to confirm sharing. Joining creates a random profile identifier and a generated trader alias. We receive and store that identifier, alias, number of completed rounds, wins and losses, total simulated stake, aggregate simulated profit or loss, and the last update time. These results update as you play and are used to calculate rankings. The public leaderboard shows your alias, identifier, aggregate results, rank, and update time. Do not join if you do not want these results to be public.
A random profile credential is stored in the iOS Keychain on this device and sent over HTTPS to authenticate updates and deletion. The server stores a hash of the credential, not its original value. The profile is not linked to an email address, Apple account, wallet, or real name. It is specific to this installation’s credentials and is not a cross-device sign-in account.
Our leaderboard is hosted by Railway. Railway processes the requests and stores the database on our behalf. Requests also expose technical connection information such as IP address and request time to hosting infrastructure for delivery and security. The application uses a temporary hashed network identifier for rate limiting, without storing it in the leaderboard database. We use leaderboard information only to provide, secure, and maintain this feature, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Market-data connections
The App connects directly to public services operated by Polymarket to retrieve market listings, order books, prices, live updates, and official results. It may connect to Coinbase for public price data when the primary live price feed is unavailable. Requests can contain public market or token identifiers and technical request information needed to return the requested data.
Like other internet services, these providers may automatically receive network and device information such as your IP address, request time, and basic connection metadata. Haselrig Technologies does not receive that information from them. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies, including Polymarket’s Privacy Policy and Coinbase’s Privacy Policy.
Data we do not collect
The App does not request your real name, email address, phone number, location permission, contacts, photos, payment information, Apple advertising identifier, or browsing history. A leaderboard profile uses a random identifier as described above. The App does not create a Polymarket account, connect to a wallet, place real-money orders, or support deposits, withdrawals, prizes, or items with cash value.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
The current App does not serve third-party advertising, use third-party analytics, or track you across apps or websites. It does not access Apple’s advertising identifier and does not use data for targeted advertising, advertising measurement, or data-broker purposes.
If a future version changes these practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that version is made available, and we will request consent when required.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. If you opt in, the leaderboard publishes the profile and aggregate results described above. Hosting providers process information as needed to operate and protect the service; we require providers processing data on our behalf to provide the same or equal protection described in this policy and required by Apple’s guidelines. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service. The App also makes the direct market-data connections described above, which are governed by those providers’ policies.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Leaderboard profiles and aggregate results are retained while you participate. Profiles with no successful results update for 90 days are removed during the next service request. You can revoke sharing and request deletion inside the App under Leaderboard → “Delete profile & stop sharing.” This stops future results uploads and removes the server profile and stored results once the request succeeds. If offline, the App saves the deletion request and retries when you reopen or reconnect; keep the App installed until deletion is confirmed. Deletion does not erase other people’s screenshots or copies of previously public results.
Local practice information remains until you reset it or delete the App. Your profile credential may remain in the device Keychain, but does not preserve a deleted server profile or automatically opt you into sharing again. Infrastructure logs or backups, if retained by service providers, follow their applicable retention schedules; deletion removes the active leaderboard record. Stop using the App to stop market-data and leaderboard browsing requests.
If you contact us outside the App, such as through our website contact form, we handle that correspondence under our website privacy policy. You may use our privacy request form to ask a question or request deletion of contact information we hold. Because the App’s practice data stays on your device, we cannot access, export, correct, or delete that local data for you.
Security
The App stores practice data within its private iOS app container and uses encrypted HTTPS or secure WebSocket connections for market-data requests. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. The App is a fake-cash practice simulator and does not provide real-money gambling, prizes, or cash-equivalent rewards. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a separate support channel, please contact us so we can review and address the request.
International use
The App uses market-data and hosting services whose systems may operate in countries other than your own. If you join the leaderboard, the limited profile and aggregate results described above are processed on our hosting provider’s systems. Your detailed local practice history is not uploaded.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date above. We will provide any additional notice or consent required for a material change.
